DREAMS is an infrared surveyor (Y to J-band) with a wide 4 sq.deg. field of view that is in the process of being commissioned at the Siding Spring observatory. The 0m5 telescope will conduct an automated survey of the Southern Sky with an average cadence of 5 days and an expected depth of 17 M_{AB}. It will provide a unique set of capabilities to discover transient events and provide complementary observations to LSST’s visible wavelength survey.
