The Astralis Instrumentation Consortium (Astralis) was honoured to sponsor and actively involve in the 2023 Astronomical Society of Australia (ASA) Annual Science Meeting (ASM), held at Macquarie University’s Wallumattagal Campus, North Ryde in Sydney from July 3 to July 7, 2023.
This year’s ASA ASM meeting, themed “Our Connected Community,” focused on re-establishing the bonds within the existing ASA community, and fostering connections with recent and future members.
Staff members and students from Astralis nodes actively participated in the meeting, presenting their latest work and giving insightful talks that contributed to the enriching exchange of knowledge at the meeting. Two newly commissioned instruments – HECTOR & Velocé – delivered by Astralis were mentioned honourably by the community. Astralis has always been committed to pioneering research and fostering talent. By promoting an inclusive scientific dialogue, we hope to pave the way for future collaborative efforts and contribute to the continued growth of the astronomical community.
