Advanced Photonic Nuller APN Seidr is a photonic nulling interferometer For ESO’s VLT which will operate in the K-band, allowing ultra-high angular resolution, high contrast imaging. This instrument targets the main science case of characterising large exoplanets at solar system scales along with other science cases including studying exozodiacal dust. It will be installed within the “Asgard” suite. Lead institutions for the othe Asgard Instruments are Exeter/UK for the “BIFROST” instrument; Liege/Belgium for “Hi-5” & Nice/France for “VIKiNG and ANU/USyd for Heimdallr.
